Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model who is well-known for her roles in films and shows on TV. Brandt started her career at the age of New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was on her role as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on many television series during the past 10 years, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt has been taking on the role that of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in Cape Town South Africa, however, she moved with her parents from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand in late teens. Brandt began modeling in commercials on TV and in print. Prior to her rise the spotlight as a model, she worked in retail sales as well as working as a consultant in the field of recruitment for IT. She was Leilani Fa'auigaese in the New Zealand TV sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in the year 2009. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2021 when she took on the role of a slave woman Naevia in the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has also reprised her role as Naevia in the mini-series that prequels Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She was cast as Mazikeen, a demon who pursues bounty hunters in Netflix's hit series Lucifer. Her most memorable role is in this role. On the show, she stars with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
